The Audi Fashion Festival Singapore is moving into new territory this year by putting the spotlight on homegrown and Asian designers instead of inviting a bevy of international fashion “stars” as it has before.
Ong Shunmugam, hansel, Saturday by Nick Wong, and Ashley Isham’s eponymous London-based label will be showcasing their Fall 2014 collections, along with up-and-coming fashion labels Dzojchen, Rêvasseur, and Mae Pang, while local label Exhibit and Singaporean accessories brand Curated Editions will debut.
Organizers have also invited established Malaysian designer, Farah Khan, whose cocktail dresses have been favored by Hollywood starlets, and the fast rising, Paris-based Jonathan Liang.

Some international glitter will still be present with Prabal Gurung opening the festival with his Fall 2014 collection which has a strong emphasis on sportswear and American legend Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2014 collection closing the festival.
