Growing Affordable Art Fair Singapore set for Nov 21-24

The Affordable Art Fair will return for the fourth time to Singapore’s F1 Pit Building with a growing roster of galleries. Last year, the fair welcomed 16,000 visitors and saw S$4 million of art sales, reflecting the growing appetite for contemporary art.

Set to run from November 21-24, the popular fair will this year present visitors with the opportunity to visit more than 95 galleries, spread over 5,000 square meters of space (up from last year’s 86 galleries covering 4,000 sq m.). As usual, the fair will showcase a diverse selection of contemporary artworks, with prices ranging from S$100 - S$10,000. Around three quarters of the works will be priced under S$7,500.

This year, organizers have included space for an “Under S$1000 Wall” to present a selection of artworks in the price range, making it easy for visitors to take home a piece without breaking the bank.

“The fair continues to grow each year, each time enhancing the experience with added initiatives, a larger space to accommodate the growing number of visitors, and more galleries to feed the demand for art,” said Camilla Hewitson, director of the Affordable Art Fair.
