Sotheby's HK will be testing the Chinese market's appetite for 19th Century European Decorative Art and Furniture with a selling exhibition, The Age of Elegance at its gallery on 8-16 Nov 2012
In recent years, Asia has proved a growing force in European decorative art market, according to the auction house and the exhibition will be the first time it offers European decorative arts for sale in Asia.
Comprising twenty-six items of furniture, eighteen paintings, six pieces of silver and four sculptures, each work range from US$30,000 to US$1,000,000.
