The Chinese artist is well known for his portaits that embed images of others. Historical scenes, as well as scene of daily life shine through the skin of his models, hinting to the strong historical background we all carry with us. His latest series is called The Series of Intelligent Youth. Here, Xiao Hong’s wrinkle-free faces drive home his belief in the younger generation of China: intelligent, looking to the future, yet rooted in tradition.
