Zhang Xiaogang's Bloodline - Big Family sold for $7.2 million at Sotheby's evening sale of Contemporary Asian Art! This was a new record for the artist's Bloodline Series. Overall, the sale raised $23.4 million, bringing Sotheyb's two day sale total for contemporary asian art (including the Ullens Collection) to $78.2 million. Chinese artist Li Songsong's China Past also set a new record for the artist, at $510,000.
