Only 10 percent of the retail shopping of Marina Bay Sands has opened, but it’s already showing some pulling power. The first Leviev diamond boutique in Asia has opened in the lobby of the hotel. Headquartered in New York and possessing close to a third of the world’s diamond mines, Leviev established its own retail boutiques in 2006 and has now boutiques in London, New York Moscow and Dubai. The 1,300 sq. ft. boutique showcases top quality diamond pieces, with the total house inventory valued at over SG$160 million.
